Do cats have a preference for using their right or left paws?

I have noticed that my cat Lucy is definitely left pawed. It is easy to observe that because she jumps on my chair when I am eating and it is the left foot that comes up to let me know that she would take the food off my plate if I let her.
Has anyone else observed this?

I have three other cats but they are not so much around me as Lucy. she is a home loving cat whereas the others are more street wise. I shall try and make more comparisons.

Some cats do favor one side over the other. I can't tell if mine do or not, because none of them really seak human food.

I think you have to observe closely when they are on the hunt.
