Tropical Storm Henri

I just read that that tropical storm Henri just made land fall in Rhode Island. I hope all will be safe out there and the destruction will be limited. Be safe out there and pull together as a many will need help, I am sure. It is good that it was down graded to a tropical storm in stead of a hurricane. Weather like this makes me wonder what kind of weather we are going to see this winter. I have heard that we are supposed to get a lot of snow this year. I am alright when it comes on weeks when I don’t need to drive it in, but it seems every year people get worse and worse at driving in it. I don’t know if it is just new people to the area who are not used to driving in snow or people are just idiots. I just try and take it slow and steady, not worth getting in an accident even if I arrive late for something. What ever your weather, I hope you all are staying safe out there.

yeah it seems that way or there are more of them now than I remember in the past but then again in the past we didn't have such easy access to the news as we do now.

We had lots of rain and tornado warnings when hurricane Fred went by last week. By the time it hit us I think it was downgraded to a Tropical Depression.

I have read about storm Henri. We had almost no summer, cool compared to the previous years, I wonder what to expect for winter too.

@Bensen32 This summer is the more rainy and coldest that I remember since we moved here. I do not complain, I hate the hot summers.

WHenever there's a turbulent storm somewhere else, winds blow off the Lake Huron. It's called the Jet Stream, a turbulence out in space.
