Cozy up with a book

It's been hot here and today will not be any different. High's in the 90's with the humidity reaching about that level too.
It's made my laptop time even more limited because I don't want to have this thing on my lap on such a hot day!
I don't have anything planned, but curling up with a good book sounds great to me right now.
I should also take time to clean some stories off my computer too.
What is your Wednesday looking like?

@ScribbledAdNauseum We don't deal with the humidity as much here, so not sure what that is like (well I knew humidity bad when I lived in Texas for a short time)...but yeah!

@MommyOfEli2013 Oh yeah, I feel awful for Texans. I guess they are used to it, but I'm not sure I could live anywhere like Texas, Florida, or Arizona.

Looking like a quiet humdrum day at the moment. It is hot here, but the humidity doesn't seem that bad to me. I don't even have the AC on at the moment. The fan seems to be doing fine.

@snowy22315 Right. I haven't been keeping up as much with the delta variant. My city has made a mask mandate and we're thinking the surrounding counties will as well soon.

It seems like this week has just been swallowed whole. I remember Monday, but Tuesday and Wednesday was a blur!
Fall (in 27 days) is a great time to read too.

Last week my mother had the week off because some of the clients had covid. So we took some branches from the bushes down the hill. I got bit badly from mosquitoes. Also last week I fall decorated. My mother got some of the fall decorations down from the attic. Although there might be some more up there we need to get down. And we cleaned sconces in here. They really need to be cleaned.

Oh no! Hope the clients are ok now.
Dollar Tree has some really pretty fall decor as does Walmart. I thought about buying some fall flowers from DT, but haven't.

Nothing much going on here. Our little housekeeper hasn't shown up so far this week because she's so busy with her real estate job. I hope she will come Friday or early next week.

@LindaOHio I would love to tackle the house here but it's not my house and not everything is mine either. Even if it's just tackling (and keeping) one clean (to my liking).
Several lifetimes are in this house.
