What's The Longest Walk You've Ever Taken?

At the moment, I would say today because I'm so tired. It's only because it's so incredibly hot outside that it only feels like the longest walk. Actually, I took two of them today. I headed out at 9 a.m. to do my hill climbing... I like having the hills to myself, but so such luck. And elderly man beat me two it. Luckily, he doesn't like talking when he's exercising any more than I do, so we both did our climbs and then headed home. It was this afternoon when hubby and I headed out for our second walk. He knows of a great apple tree on one of the walking paths and we just arrived home with a bag full. Haven't decided if I have the energy to make apple crisp for dessert, or to save them for a cooler day. So, back to that longest walk. It would have to be one of the days we spend at Disney World. I don't know where the time goes, but that place can burn up the minutes like there is no tomorrow. If we go back in the future, I think that I will invest in a pedometer so I can clock the number of steps. I think that it also tells you the distance walked as well.

I used to do a lot of walking...walk to school, walk to the mall, etc. Now that I have mobility issues, I really miss being able to get around. We should get a break in the weather next week.

I can’t even remember when was it and probably only when I’m shopping. I don’t actually walk to exercise and i hardly go out of the house these days for a walk because of the pandemic. But i do try to exercise at home. Jump rope has become my thing.

I am not sure really. I went backpacking one weekend in college and we walked all day and the next..but don't know in miles. I have done a few 5 mile walks. I was on a 10 mile walk but not sure if I finished the whole thing.

I went on a five day hike when I was in high school. I think we covered forty miles. No cell phones in those days so our civilization was when a plane zoomed over head.

I do not remember my longest walk. Either when I went hiking or when I went walking on the boardwalk.
