Long hours with laptop..An unusual Friday night.

It is 12:37 post-midnight here. And I am sitting with my laptop since 8:30 PM. A lot got done.
I finished few worksheets for my students for next week. I have a couple more to do and that I can do sometime tomorrow.
It is unusual Friday night here and now we are officially into Saturday morning.
No late-night TV watching ritual today. Instead, we sat down in our gazebo for a while enjoying the rain and our drink. I had my tender coconut juice while my husband enjoyed his whiskey. He has some things to complete for office work and he got busy with that while I came here to tackle the notifications, he might take some more time to finish them. Our movie watching stands canceled. Anyway, we could not decide what to watch
I would just be here for some more time and catch up with the recent discussions. I can hear the raindrops on my terrace in this silent night and that sounds magical

He could have done it on Saturday. But he wanted to finish it and enjoy his weekend doing carpentry.
I would say that last night was better than usual Friday night. After all we again sat and enjoyed rain for an hour from 1_2 and had some good chit chat.

@arunima25 No, we had a dine out with the greater family two weeks ago, and last weekend it was Rakhi, so this weekend would be a bland one.
Carpentry is an interesting and uncommon hobby for an urban Indian, how did he develop this?

@Sojourn Many people in urban India love to do it as a hobby. He watched some DIY videos and started trying. Then he met some with the same interests on social media groups and attended a few workshops online and one day workshop offline.

Oh you missed your movie! I watched Shershaah earlier alone and now watching with my family.
For the next 1 month plus, kids and even us would be in exam mode.
Still I would try to find some time in between for this site plus Forumcoin. Enjoy your Saturday!

It was good that we had a change. We sat in the gazebo on terrace and chat for one hour from 1_2 in the morning after we were done with enough of work and screen

I slept till 9 AM, and then had a little longer than one hour nap in the afternoon. It is 11:40 in the night here and I am still not sleepy. I will mylot till I feel sleepy.

We too had clouds, drizzle,s and light showers throughout the day today. Now it is almost midnight here and it is drizzling outside. I slept late till 9 AM today and so had enough rest.
