Pests and insects can prove to be bothersome. In Houses, commercial buildings, Godowns and in the fields with crops. The picture I am sharing is of Ladybird who are used as a way to get rid of APhids- insects who eat a lot of crops. What a way to achieve certain objectives! Lizards are wonderful natural pest control. They eat up all mosquitoes and flies.

We can buy ladybirds here to kill the aphids, I always let them hibernate in the garden shed, those are useful insects.

I buy a few hundred ladybugs every couple of years and just let them go here. I don't know which benefits more, the aphid-free roses or the happy little frogs that eat them. I'll just keep buying more.

And our Lizards that eat so many flies and mosquitoes. I have my favorite one on our terrace wall. It keeps eating all the flies that come to light when we plan to sit out on rainy days.Even bats eat mosquitoes but they can be a menace in their own way.

@arunima25 This year due to high heat and inefficient functioning of our older AC, plus too many insects, we had a number of small lizards. One even climbed to a bed in a room, which we were not actively using!! So well they become a problem by themselves as well.

@arunima25 Sometimes they are too close. And I would never like lizards coming too near - its disgusting!

Mum always liked to see ladybirds on her roses. She knew they would take care of the aphids.
