Shopping for jeans unsuccessful

If you wanna work out no need to go to the gym. Just go shopping and try on 15 pairs of jeans. That's what I did today.
I felt hot and exhausted afterwards. And I didn't even buy any of them. Some I couldn't zip up at all. Some closed easily but didn't feel comfortable or felt a bit tight.
Only thing I ended up getting was a pair of activewear pants to wear at home. Cost $16.99. I am not even 100% sure I will keep them. Will have to try them on again.

I bought 2 new jeans online this Sunday, will arrive this week. I chose high waist and I can't wait to try it. One is light blue and the other is white.

My colleagues shopped for jeans online and I joined the bandwagon. I chose a high waisted one. Fit is good, it's skinny and fabric is stretched. One thing not perfect is have to wear belt to keep it in place at all times.

I do not like high wasted jeans. I prefer mid-rise. At least they are not tight on you.

Trying to find the right pair of jeans is an unenviable task. The only ones I currently have in my closet are the loose "work" sort of jeans-- none of the super cute outfit sort. That is because I've gained a few pounds during the last few years, and that has sort of thrown off my ability to find that perfect fit.

@lovebuglena They are out there. The problem is, the fit can vary widely between brands-- or even within the same brand.

A lot of jeans are high-wasted and skinny. I don't want those. I also don't want low-rise. Whatever happened to mid-rise straight leg jeans?

It is much easier to put them on than take them off. 
Probably better if you sit down but the seat they had inside the fitting room didn't seem clean.

I remember sometime back shopping for jeans I tried lots of them before paying for two only. The other day I went to buy jeans I had no chance of trying it on and I ended up buying a smaller one I feel bad about it . The skinny jeans are sometimes hectic sorry about that I completely understand what you went through

I prefer to try on stuff before buying so I don’t have to deal going back to the store for returns. If they don’t fit I don’t buy and that’s it.

It's hard to shop for jeans! I don't really like a lot of the styles they have these days . . . I miss my jeans from the 80s/90s 
. Plus the length of the legs are always too long for me . . . I have to make sure they look decent if they are hemmed (which in most cases for me they do need to be hemmed).

I hate shopping for clothes. When I was young and skinny I fit into everything. That's when shopping was fun. Sorry you didn't find any jeans.

I don’t even know what size I am in jeans. Or in any pants in general, if it’s not letter sizes (S, M, etc). My husband needed some new khakis for work so we went to Primark. While there I decided to see if any active pants or leggings for me to wear at home. I looked at some stuff and saw some were in a size of 2XS. 
And it was in the women’s section. Who can fit into that?
