What is the chance of getting Covid?

Your chance of getting covid or dying from covid. I see something I think it was on Fox News that said your chance of survival against Covid if getting the vaccine is at 99.999%. Wow, that is pretty good if that is true but then I listened as they told me that my chances of dying are 25% more likely without the vaccine. Then I thought about it, wow 25% more likely…wow that is kind of a chance. I mean that is like 1 in 4 people, right?
I mean should I really take the chance of being one in four? That does sound scary…or is that want they want us to think? I sat there and thought about it, and I don’t claim to be a doctor or scientist or even a mathmagician(lol) but if that is the case then doesn’t that mean I have a 99.749% of survival without the vaccine? Wait that doesn’t help the narrative so let’s not mention that part.
If you look up in the 1980’s Coronavirus it tells you it is the common cold. Now I’m sure this is a variant of that virus so maybe it is different or is it?

Coronavirus is just a category of viruses like "fruit" is a category of food. There are many different varieties. Yes the common cold is a coronavirus. So is COVID-19. There are hundreds of different "common cold" coronaviruses. That's why people get more than one cold in their lives.
FOX News wouldn't be my trusted source for science information. They are anti-vax and anti-mask. They also have promoted dangerous and ineffective COVID treatments like hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin. Hydroxychloroquine is used to treat malaria (not a virus) and Ivermectin is a livestock dewormer.

Trying to do math can be a real pain. Granted I am a bit skeptical when it comes to the vaccine. Phizer was approved by the FDA fairly recently, and Maderna and Jhonson and Jonson are still undergoing trials. And, Phizer isn't recommended to give to kids under 16. With the sciece still in constant flux, it's hard to know what is, or isn't real.
It's true the cronia virus is a spin on the common cold. You also remember SARS? Well, they call COVID Sars Cov 2. That's something to think about as well.
In my opinion, everything is 50/50. Until you catch it (if you catch it) then you have a 50/50 chance you'll get severly sick, or wind up dying. Each person is different and the virus won't attack the same two people the exact same way.

Yeah, it is hard to believe what any of these so called "experts" say and the media spins it anyway they think it will sell more or what ever their agenda is.
I know the media and government says people are dying everyday from it and that might be true or not. I can only speak from my personal experience. I have not gotten it or at least I have not been tested to know either way. The few people I have talked to that said they tested positive for it said they were sick for 7-14 days and it was like a bad cold. That is about 5 people so not sure what that really means.

Well, check your math. .250 % is not 25%
Every cold and flu I've had has given me some immunity to that particular strain. Now the vaccine has given me immunity to this one.
Rather have a vaccine than a virus that has a 75% chance of making me very ill.
