Fancy Restaurants

Every day, we eat simple and cheap dishes. But once in a while, we celebrate special occasions in a fancy, classy, post restaurant. We always love degustation because we will be able to taste a different kind of chef's specialties.
It is a bit expensive as compared to an ordinary dish in this restaurant. However, degustation usually has 8 varieties and is not in the menu dishes.
I don't understand why bottled water is always so expensive, which is no longer practical.

We haven't gone to eat in a restaurant since Covid started... I've always loved to cook but would really like to eat something I didn't make once in a while.

I see, this was picture was not after the covid. I just chose the fanciest restaurant where I dined here in Thailand Here we can buy food for a dollar and it is a complete meal. Street food.

Bottled water is one of the biggest scams ever.
Are you going to review some of the chef's specialties you've had?

@xander6464 hahaha they will not pay me. Anyway, this restaurant .. is by Joel Robuchon, a french Chef and that restaurant. L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon was 2 Michellin stars.

I do the same, I eat simple foods everyday and going out once a while to go to fancy dinning restaurant to celebrate special date like birthday, celebrating achievement, etc.
Fancy dinning is expensive, but thanks to coupons saving, cash back and rewards, we could pamper ourselves eating in a nice restaurant without spending too much.

It is good to have a blast once in a way. They have to spend for their ambiance and hence even water bottles are priced more
