Things are normal here: I’m home, I’m at a local Tex-Mex restaurant as usual on Saturday, and I’m going to use a song from the great Neil Sedaka that I’ve used before. You know why I’ve used it? Because I love it! That’s also why it’s so high on the list. And here it is.

Hey, didn’t I use this in the “king and queen” countdown? Why, yes, thanks for noticing!
This song was a big hit in Italy….as “Il Rei Dei Pagliacci.” Yep, Sedaka did an entire album in Italian. That is popularity! Here in America? Not so big. This wasn’t typical happy, upbeat Sedaka stuff, and people who were used to the happy stuff didn’t understand that Neil could do other things.
Too bad. I love it.
