My adventures in dog sitting continue. Happily I'm blessed enough to currently be watching over 2 doggos and 2 cats at a beautiful home over looking the Mississippi river. This has been a week long commitment and the week has just flown by. I stay right in the home with the pets. It always takes a little bit to learn the workings of the house and the habits the animals are used to. But pretty comfortable. The animal's humans come home tomorrow so I will do up the dishes that I used (not a lot), and sweep up the floors. I'm not too worried about tidying up more - they live in a realm of happy clutter it's actually been hard for me not to clean up... but this is their home and I'm not within my rights to rearrange. It is a fun and pleasant way to make some extra $ Now I have 2 peoples I pet sit for ! Yay! Photo: Pixabay user ArtTower

I'm sure that would be an interesting job... Pretty used to do that when she was still in college. She liked doing it, too.

It's nice! It's like a mini vacation almost for me, too. (I know, I need to get out more) I thought Pretty was still in college?

@FayeHazel Pretty graduated from college over ten years ago... And yes, getting out more couldn't hurt... as long as you're masked and use sanitizer often.

@DaddyEvil Oh wow! Well, good on her. What major did she take? *sigh* I know some fully vaccinated folks that just got it. :/ That makes me sad and ... a little scared too

That's great and best not to clean up too much. They might feel a bit put out.

Yeah, I think you're right. It's funny though, it's triggering me. Maybe I'm more of a neat-nic than I thought I was. It's like I honestly am expecting them to be angry because the house is messy, and yet, it's like duh - it's their house ... this is the condition it was in when they left....

@FayeHazel I think I might be cleaning up a little bit. I wouldn't be able to help myself.

I could never live in someone else's home, but that sounds wonderful.

That sounds like a fun job! I love how the dog seems to just be waiting for their turn after the cat finishes climbing the chair.

It's a great photo! I found it online... but the dog in the photo is about the same size as these dogs :-)
