This bird known as greater racket tailed drongo is a loner She will come to the bird bath when no other bird is around She is also special in another way that she chirps in different sounds including the meow of a cat Here she is seen sitting on an electric cable, all by her self. She has not visited us this season. She likes to frolic in the bird bath normally

Those birds have long tails. A 'drongo' in Australian slang is another word for an idiot.

That sounds similar to the grackles we get here sometimes, they can mimic puppies, kittens, babies and other birds.
