This post is about how good neighbors watch out for the welfare of their neighbors when a natural disaster strikes like a house fire that happened in Phoenix Arizona on Wednesday evening. A senior man who was inside of a burning home was assisted to safety by his concerned neighbors who risked their lives to enter his home and get him out of his home quickly and safely before firefighters from the Phoenix, Glendale and Avondale area came to put out the fire. The condition of the senior man who was saved from the housefire is not known at this time. The senior man most likely was taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries suffered in the fire and is hopefully going to make a quick recovery. The damage to the home of the fire victim was severe enough to displace him at this time. I am sure that the community in the Phoenix area will make donations and assistance to assist the fire victim to find temporary housing until he can get back on his feet financially.

Where would we be without our neighbors? Good to have them look out for him.

Yup, that's what neighbors are for, to come to assist each other. Though in our society a negative slogan goes 'Wala kang paki sa di mo pami,' which basically means one has no business interfering with neighbors. But of course, a fire is a different matter.
