Golden Apples

Apples are not my favourite fruit But when we visited Kashmir a few years ago we spotted a tree with apples with a yellow colour. On checking we were told they were the speciality of Kashmir and were known as Golden Apples.
True to the word they seem to be the sweetest of all varieties. Here is a link that talks of different varieties of apples

From the varieties of apples which one would you like Bananas are my favourite too They are a kind of staple diet and I eat them thrice a day

@allknowing There are close to 3,000 varieties of apples in the UK! Of course I haven't tried that many different types. I guess Discovery has to be a favourite - we had a tree in the garden of our last house, and everyone loved the apples so when we moved we bought another tree. The apples are crisp and sweet, and the flesh is white flushed with varying amounts of pink. They are delicious to eat fresh and make excellent juice. However they have to be eaten within a week or so as they don't store at all.
Discovery is a traditional apple tree variety. The apples are perfect for desserts.

We have a variety called Golden Delicious, which I like. Also Gala, and Honey Crisp.
