Vanessa Williams was crowned Miss America 1984!! She was simply stunning and very talented. She survived the scandal of controversial pictures being published in penthouse magazine and then her resigning from Miss America. She went on to become a big star of music and acting! I love her songs the right stuff and darling I !!! She is a good example of how one can face a scandal head on and come out without a scratch!! Here's looking at ya Vanessa and still going strong!!
