I´m about to reach my second goal here.

I have accepted by now that this year I will never reach the earnings I had last year at mylot. But still, the first months were so meager that I am happy that I am reaching my second (out of 3) goal.
Maybe I should add the cents that I have earned doing surveys. But it is not the same. This is fun and I don´t really care too much what I earn. On the other hand, the only thing I care about surveys are the dollars and cents.
Anyway, this year I have saved money in other ways and it has been a lot more important than my online earnings.
I remember years ago when I stopped smoking so that I could have money for the air fare of my holidays.
Now with the covid, the amount of money I have saved by not paying a help in the house has meant a lot.
Yesterday I could even offer Tania some money to help her buy her car. She has to pay me in a few months, but that will help her a lot.
Money comes, money goes.

Money comes
But seems to go quicker.
I haven't done very well on here since May
But I was not here that much so any goals I set were forgotten about

@JimBo452020 No. Even if you have the wifi and the like, you want to do other things.

It does. You should be proud of what you do accomplish.

@marguicha Qmee survey and it’s instant which is what I like when I’m ready to redeem out. Because there is no minimum to cash out

We've had some enormous projects with enormous bills this year. Hopefully next year will be better.

@marguicha I am on myLot just for fun. As I made a bit of money since I joined writing sites years ago, I saved everything on a personal account... just in case of rainy days.

The term 'currrency' has a meaning!
"currency (n.) 1650s, "condition of flowing," a sense now rare or obsolete, from Latin currens, present participle of currere "to run" ... The notion of "state or fact of flowing from person to person" led to the senses "continuity in public knowledge" (1722) and "that which is current as a medium of exchange, money" (1729).

@MALUSE I understand now. And in Spanish we say "correr" for run.

@marguicha You shouldn't use it in your post. The term 'currency' came to my mind when I read your last sentence.
The question is why the term 'currency' is used for money at all. The answer is because "Money comes, money goes" as you've said in your last sentence. And it does so rather quickly. The Latin term doesn't mean 'to walk' but 'to run'!

My daughter is still paying for her youngest son´s education. And the father gives her nothing.

@marguicha It's really shameful that the father doesn't help with supporting his child.
