I will not be here much today. It is already nearly time for me to go to work.
Tonight after work we will go get some things at the grocery store. That way we can avoid the weekend.
I find that the stores are less crowded if we skip the weekends.Less crowded means less viral exposure. If I did not work I would likely shop in the middle of the day. Some places even give seniors like me a discount on certain days of the week.
I guess getting older does have some perks.

SEnior citizens here get 10% discount on everything. And in some cities they get free movie pass every Wednesday.

Yes, the weekly sales start Wednesday, but Thursday is closer to the weekend, and we avoid more people. I remember my grandparents always went on Tuesdays. They spent the whole day in town.

We would have to leave the house very early to shop that early. During the school year I am working by 7, but I like the idea of shopping that early.

@GardenGerty We have 4 grocery stores 2 miles from home, it's a convenient location here.
I like shopping early because there are not many customers in the stores, I feel safer right now.

In the city where I live, it is free for the elderly to take buses. Many scenic spots offer discounts for the elderly, and some are free
