Do you like goat milk?

I love goal milk. Prefer it to cow milk. Don't remember the last time I bought though. It's expensive. A quart container of goat milk is around $5, if not more. I think I will cave in and just buy it. Not like I get it on a regular basis. I love goat milk with chocolate chip cookies, or wild blueberry pie. Or anything baked really.

That is not made with goat milk, but with sheep milk. Some French expensive cheese are made with goat milk.

@lovebuglena I also buy sheep milk and it is also good. When I was a kid I could only drink goat or sheep milk, the cow milk made me sick.

I think it is better for anyone regardless of their age. I'd try sheep milk but I've not see it in stores here.

Probably can't drink that if you are lactose intolerant. Does that mean you cannot eat goat cheese either?

I'm not really into fresh milk. But yes, it's more expensive that cow's milk. We can also use it for medication.

I tried almond milk recently. But I put it in coffee as no other milk was available. I was not a fan.

@nela13 I wish it was more affordable though. I like goat milk kefir. One container of it is $6 or more I think. Too expensive.

I've never had goat's milk. Maybe when I was a baby. I'm lactose intolerant; so we buy soy milk when we need to make pudding, etc...or I can take dairy pills.

@LindaOHio Do you like sorbet? Haagen Daz has sorbet and it's dairy free. Unless all sorbets are dairy free. Have no idea.

@lovebuglena Yes, I think we've had that too. I eat lactose free ice cream by Breyers. It's really good.

It's good for you and better than cow milk. Not everyone likes the taste though.
