I am not sure if that is the case nowadays but not so long ago there used to be a flood of calendars and diaries brought out by firms of repute. Collecting them was kind of a craze and then comparing notes as to how many each had collected. I was no exception.
I was working for a multi national and they had those great scenes from Switzerland - twelve of them. I was kind of chased after by many of my friends and family hoping I would present them with one.
Do you have any hanging on your walls?

My laptop tells me what day it is but I do have one calendar hanging in the kitchen

No longer..I only have one that I get from the place I go for appointments.
I really miss those days of lovely calendars and diaries.
I bet you have quite a bunch of lovely ones.

I have one hanging in there in my kitchen.. it's s actually a panchang by Thakur Prasad to keep track of auspicious Hindu days..nothing fancy about.
I am still crazy about those diaries though. I get them from our financial advisor every new year

In those days I had a collection of diaries that I never used and so is the story with calendars.
I have a calendar only with numbers hanging in the passage.

@allknowing I still use diaries. I make my to do list there. Have my budget plans and other stuff written jn there. Make my lesson plans etc. I am still into hand written stuff.

My father brings calenders every year.
Although everyone have mobiles but we still prefer calenders when we are at home

That is how it is with most of us but I do have one with large numbers hanging in the passage kind of a ready reckoner.

I make my own calendars each year from September to September when our Jewish New Year starts and hang it on the wall.

@allknowing Nope, I just got few free calendars :-D Also due to my mom still need calendar not too far from walking distance, if that means, every room has calendar, then be it
