Do you know Granatsplitter (Chocolate truffles)?

Germany
October 4, 2021 5:04am CST
Hello Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening to all my dear mylotters Here I am again I want to share with you this Granatsplitter I bought from the bakery nearby after a nice morning walk It is a cake covered with chocolate with wafer at the bottom. I like the taste of this cake because it is really not too sweet. It has been long time since I ate this kind of cake and I crave for it today. How about you my dear mylotters? Do you know Granatsplitter? What cake do you like most? I hope you can share it with me here Have a great day and Happy mylotting Photo: google

Why haven't you translated the term Granatsplitter? I'm the only myLotter who can understand it. I can understand the word but I've never seen or heard about this sweet in my life! I've lived in the east (Sachsen), the north (Niedersachsen) and now live in the south of Germany (Baden-Württemberg). No Granatplitter anywhere!

When I translate it. It says ``Grenade shards`` I`m not sure if that`s the right one for this cake I`m wondering why you can`t find it in your place but here I can find it at the baker shops

That looks really nice. I've never heard of it here but no doubt they have something similar, perhaps with a different name.
