If you really love me,...

...then you can have a tattoo of my face on your body. I watched a video documentary about this and it made me shake my head with these people. What if they are not forever, right? I am sure it will be a big problem if how these tattoos will be removed. Is this the basis of loving someone so deeply? Did you ink your body? Image Credit: noonecares.me

No human being will ever wear their face, tattooed on my body. This isn't love, it's stupidity. In memory of my dog Kobe, his name is on my wrist. Will we always remain in love? That's ridiculous!

Uhm, I think that is really a forever love to Kobe. You have a point that the face of someone is tattooed on a particular person's body is an insane thing to do.

@Shavkat Kobe will be in my heart forever. I loved him. A man's face tattooed on my body, in time would probably be a big mistake!

if you love someone so deeply, take care of him and don't hurt him, physically and mentally.

I agree with what you said. Just making a tattoo of a person and not taking care of him /her is not love in my opinion. @Taufik91 Welcome to mylot.

That would be more ideal. I cannot understand why they need to do this.

I do respect those who have tattoos or want to get tattooed but I have never been interested in this. As far as loving someone is concerned, tattoo is not the only way to express how much you care for someone.

I agree. We can express it truly by getting married.

How about the phrase, 'actions speak louder than words?' I never dared to have a tattoo.

True but for a man who is blinded by love I think many will do it. But logical yiu are correct that nothing is really permanent when it comes to loving someone. Tattoos are somewhat permanent and it's hard to remove when things do not go as planned.

@Shavkat oh shocks are a painful way to remove a tattoo. I think there are better ways to remove it though I know that they are painful too if you decide to remove them.

@rsa101 I agree. Now, he got a big keloid on his body. What a bad move for him to do this.

I do agree that a man will do this if so in love with a woman. I had watched a video that a man used a hot iron to erase the face of his ex.

For the sake of art, I will go for it. Not to the extreme of showing love to someone through this.

I won't and I doubt if the love can be linked by making a tattoo on the body.

You said it on point. It is not the basis for showing real affection to someone special.

That's insanity and it's expensive too. My student had arm tattoo and asked how much 18, 000 and that was 8 years ago.

That sounds expensive. When I was still studying in university, some of my classmates had tattoos. They encouraged me to do it, but I strongly refused it.

It depends on what kind of love you are referring to. For me, "Loving someone is loving oneself first."
