Rainy Day With Hummingbirds

Another rainy day here. Sunshine earlier but the rain has started now. And a tornado warning was just issued. The hummingbirds enjoy the rain. I see them more at the deck feeder when the raindrops are falling. Snapped this one and was able to get two in one photo. Hard to do, got lucky. They are so fast, you have to be ready with the camera. There is one on the top and bottom of the feeder. Photo is mine.

It's rained here all day today. We never see hummingbirds. We put out hummingbird feeders at the other house but I finally took them down. The bees kept taken them over so hummingbirds wouldn't use them.

@CarolDM Mom had hummingbird feeders hanging all over the place, plus flowers the hummingbirds loved. I miss seeing them.

@DaddyEvil Makes me wonder if someone either has cats that are getting them or maybe pesticides. Bees also visit mine but the hummers don't mind.

I see them and my heart skipped a beat. I don't know why I love hummingbirds even though I haven't seen a live one. We don't have hummingbirds here at all. They're my spirit animal.

I see the humingbirds. They do not stay in our yard to long. Probably because of the cats.
