Inspiration From Candy

For a while, I have been crocheting hats for the donation box. I have some yellow, white, and orange yarn that I was trying to make a hat from and I was holding the 3 strands together and using a larger hook. That wasn't working.
Then it dawned on me 
that these colors would work well together if used the yarn separately in single strands. AND the colors are the same as those in Candy Corn!! I will be wearing this hat so it's not going into the donation box.
The accompanying photo is of the hat that I crocheted using white, orange, and yellow yarn.

Yes, it is a great hat. I will have a few more holiday hats later on. I will be posting more about hats and socks and whatever else I knit, crochet, or sew.

Thank you. I will be wearing it until Halloween is over. Then I will have another holiday hat to wear.

@judithml It usually takes me about 4 hours to make a hat. Only this one took longer than that because I tried 2 or 3 color combinations with the yarn until I came up with this one!!
