French Toast for Brunch

Got busy with coffee and watching the butterflies. Skipped breakfast. But made up for it with a brunch of French toast. Another favorite.
The rain should be gone for now. But the 80s return next week. Still waiting for cooler temperatures. Eventually they will arrive.
Back to a few donating projects. I have two boxes filled. Working on more.

French toast sounds good....glad you enjoyed. We have rain today....and cooler temps. No more 80's for us in 2021, I don't think.

@CarolDM That's good to hear.
And sorry to hear that. I would like mid 60's to lower 70's all year myself lol

I had broken sleep last night, so I ended up having breakfast in the middle of the night-- and, later, having second breakfast. I know that second breakfast is a real thing, because every cat that I have ever known has told me that it IS a real thing.
I started sorting and setting aside things to donate, but I've since gotten distracted from that goal. I know that I need to get back on that, because we need to downsize a bit. We shouldn't be in this apartment that much longer, and I seriously don't want to move all of this stuff again. So, at least a bit of it needs to go.

@CarolDM My breakfasts often aren't "breakfast" food. I am perfectly happy with cold, leftover pizza. My husband, on the other hand, is quite committed to the idea of breakfast-y type foods.

Sounds good. I like French toast made with French bread and deep friend. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I don't make it like this; but I've had it in a restaurant like that. The weather for our trip is going to be a little bit warmer than I like (79); but at least there isn't a cold front coming through with rain.
