Thought I’d have a relaxing long weekend just like the kitty in my photo, but it wasn’t in the cards for me.
We received an invitation from close friends who live in Massachusetts (while out with other friends for Friday date night) and drove up early Saturday morning to spend the day with then and an overnight.
Left early this morning after breakfast, and as soon as we got home and I settled in to my notifications, our older son invited us to dinner in New Jersey. Sleeping over. Will drive home tomorrow afternoon.
Didn’t want my friends to think I’m abandoning them.
It’s turned into a busy and wonderful holiday weekend for us.

lol I am so jealous, I used to have a similar life but God had other plans for me. It's funny the things you find you miss when you can't do them anymore. But I am still so blessed, in friends, family and my sweet love.
