Not sure how the day unfolds.... fully vaccinated.

Good morning from this side of the planet. It's 6:40 AM as I write this post snuggled up in a warm blanket. It's s working day and I have not stepped out of my bed yet. I got my second dose of vaccination yesterday. And now I am having slight fever, bodyache and a bad bad headache. And worst of all I am feeling too tired. I had the same symptoms with my first dose and it stayed for 2_3 days. So, I get two days of vaccination leave from my school. The physical school have started from yesterday for Grade 6-12. It's exam time here for my daughters and they both went to school. Elder one used the school transport and I had to pick up and drop my younger one. Her school doesn't have a transport and I have been doing that for years now. I was in the traffic after months and the experience was not good, in fact even horrible as the ongoing rain made the traffic clog and slower They have study leave for two days and their next exam is on Thursday. I should feel better by then to drive them. I can't go to physical school till the end of this month. I have to complete two weeks post vaccination. So, i will work from home till then. That is some updates from this side. I plan to take full rest and I would keep peeping in here whenever I can. Have a good time in your mylot corner Stay safe and healthy. Picture is of a bud from my garden that's about to bloom. Not sure how my day unfolds.

I'm glad you've gotten your second vaccination jab. I wish you weren't feeling sick, though. Feel better soon.

@arunima25 When I got my second Moderna shot I was absolutely exhausted for two days. I slept for most of those two days. Keeping you in a good mood depends on who you end up talking with on myLot.

Yes, that's one task off the list. I am among the last of few teachers to get fully vaccinated. Physical school has started from this week and fully vaccinated staffs are back to work. I should be able to go back there to physical school after Diwali. I am feeling better after my morning nap. I guess rest today should help. And mylotting will definitely keep me in good mood

@DaddyEvil I have been taking these frequent naps since yesterday. Yesterday I went to bed early despite all the naps. I am feeling little better today. Most or rather almost all my mylot friends cheer up my mood. They are angels

@Shavkat It's an indigenous ones and approved by WHO. It's efficacy is too good and India even gave its indigenous vaccines to other countries.

Oh! Sorry about that. Generally the symptoms go in a day or two. But yes the weakness might continue for some time. Take care. You should go home and take enough rest if you can do that.

@LadyDuck Today I had just two meetings and I finished them soon. I took a nap as soon as that was over. Now I can rest on weekends and hopefully be all okay by Monday.

Thank you Anna. I have been resting all the time. I am so tired that no amount of sleep and nap seems enough. I have extended my leave. I will join from Monday. I need more rest..No more fever but some headache and tiredness is still there.

@arunima25 No such restrictions were in place when we had to get ourselves vaccinated for example Yellow fever. This is too much

2 weeks is the time to say that you are well protected and antibodies are formed. Also for 14 days post vaccination, your immunity is compromised and doctors advice more rest and care and no exhaustive activities.
