I did a small load of laundry a little while ago and now I am just waiting for the clothes to dry so I can put them away, I don't like to leave the clothes in the basket, I have to fold them right away. Are you like this also?

I iron what needed to be ironed immediately and I store the laundry soon after.

@marlina I put the dryer of "ready to iron", so they still have that little humidity that makes things easier.

I have the same habits of getting my dry clothes of the dryer and fold them quickly to put them in a safe place.

Nope, I can leave them in the basket until I need them, but if it something prone to wrinkling I will try to hang it up more or less right away. I use a wrinkle free spray to de wrinkle if need be.

@marlina I find them handy and convenient with just a little spritz prior to wear. You can get a large container of it at Dollar General.

Folding the clothes and putting them away is all a part of the laundry cycle and I do it all together.

@marlina My mother used to load the washing machine and then call me to hang the clothes outside or to put them into the dryer. She often was folding laundry late at night and she would put it into piles on the stairs. Each of us 4 kids had a stair, our bedrooms were upstairs, so on our way up we would have to pick up our pile off of our stair. It was my hubby who got me into the habit of doing laundry all in 1 swoop, he grew up in a family of 8 and he learned it that way. It works best here.

@marlina I hvae no dryer but a washer and have a rack that I hang them on to dry or if not many then on a chair and my ladder to dry. When we had a porch I would put them out there on the porch and the sun would dry them.

No, not really. I did laundry last night, and the clothes are still in the dryer. My husband likes to fold them on his own time.

@marlina Doesn't bother me. One less task I have to do. The laundry gets done, that's the important thing.

I still hang our clothes after washing then when they are dry I also fold them immediately. May I ask after machine washing the clothes are already dry and ready to be folded? I like that.

I guess my laundry style is like yours too. I do have to fold them right away and then keep them in the closet.

After spinning dry I still hang them because our dryer is the simple one. Clothes cannot be folded right away.

My dryer hasn't worked in years so I hang mine on an outside line. I also don't fold, I hang things up in the closet.

After washing the clothes, I will hang them on the balcony to dry, because the clothes taken out of the washing machine are still a little damp, and my automatic washing machine has no drying function
