My mom bought me a young chicken from Lidl while I was away.
I thought about what to do with it and decided to make bouillon.
I put the chicken in a large pot, filled it with water, and added sea salt, carrots, celery, and onion.
After the pot came to a boil, I let it cook on low flame for about 1.5 hours.
I also made matzo balls from a matzo ball mix we had left over.
Already had a bowl of soup yesterday and can't wait to eat it today.
Nothing goes to waste.
I put the cooked carrots, celery, onion, and chicken into the bouillon, along with a few matzo balls.
Added fresh cilantro.
Usually I add fresh dill but I do not have that.
It was really good.

Sounds good. I think I've had matzo ball soup many, many years ago.
