After the long rainy season this year now I can hope to get clear days. The morning is sunny. The air is wearing a slight chill. And there is dew on the grass. It's time to trim the rose plants. Trimming the rose plants helps them to grow new shoots. And they in turn will grow new buds. I must sharpen my sickle and get into the flower garden. What are the flower gardening jobs this time of the year?

Gardening is still a plan for me. Once everything is settle at the new house, I am planning to put up plant rack and buy plants to beautify the frontyard.

The only job I know this time of year is planting so flowers will come up in spring.

Roses always seem to benefit from being pruned. I'm sure yours will too.

This time of year, my husband trims trees and bushes. They don't grow as much or as fast, during the fall and winter months. So, it makes mowing easier.
