Wacky Messages Again ... It's been a while

I have been on both Facebook and Twitter for years. I don't see how there could possibly be a connection. But right after that lady testified before Congress about Facebook not protecting teenagers and causing them to become suicidal, all of a sudden I started getting weird messages. This ghost with a name I do not recognize shows up in my Notifications. So I report this to Facebook. The messages stopped appearing. This morning I'm reviewing my Notifications and it's the ghost sending a wacky message. It can't be a connection between the woman testifying and me getting weird messages. It's likely a coincidence in the timing. But today, I go on my Twitter and there's another ghost posting wacky messages to me. I report and block. What gives?? My Facebook goes back to 2009 amd my Twitter goes back to 2012. When I first started on social media, weird messages used to pop up. After a while, everything was working just fine. I go for years not having any problems with my social media accounts. It's October 2021, and up pops these wacky messages. Did somebody just notice I was ALIVE??? I guess this is what people call "trolls". Is this happening to anyone else?
