Yellow Roses

My downstairs neighbor and her two little:girls brought me a beautiful bouquet of yellow Roses. She also gave me a card with her phone number and told me to call her if I needed anything. She is a special lady and I appreciate having her for a neighbor. I hope you have such a good neighbor.

That’s too bad. Neither did I until we moved into an apartment. She’s lived in the apartment below us for years.

@RubyHawk Nice! We are all spread out here. Nearest house is about 1/2 a mile away in one direction and more in the other.

@kareng I used to live in the country but We knew each other and were good neighbors. At my apartments people are always moving in and out. It’s hard to get to know anybody but we have lived here for years and this good neighbor has also.

The roses are pretty, yellow roses are my favorite. Its great that you have someone so considerate and caring in your life. I hope that you can call on her for a cup of tea some time to help with the day to day quietness that you are adjusting to. I'm sure that she would love that.

She probably would but she works long hours and has children to get to activities. She is a single mother and has very little free time.

Same as @xFiacre I like yellow roses more than other colors. I also like the "mixed pink", not a lot the red. Those in the photo are the pink roses I have in the garden.

Your pink roses are pretty too. I have grown red, pink and white roses but never yellow. I think yellow is uncommon. I don’t see as many of those.

There is a nice young man who lives in the apartment across from me. He often texts me to ask "Is anything wrong? I heard Angel (my dog) barking earlier." or "Haven't seen you around in a while. Everything okay? " He told me he's 43, but that's younger than my little brother, so, he's a "young man".

I'm not a flower person but roses are my second favorite out of them. Carnations being the first. That was so sweet of them and sounds like very good neighbors

@arast0ry That is much different than where I live. I can see you have good neighbors. Do they tend to stay in one place long. In our complex people move in and out.

@RubyHawk housing in my area is not like in europe, our houses are very close together and some are only separated by one wall, so we often gather outside, and they are like family, if there is a fight or theft we help each other as soon as possible like the photo below, housing in my area
