My Wee Cheddars

I am not going to start reviewing food products, but I thought I would share with you a recent disappointment. I thought I would try these Blue Cheese flavoured Mini Cheddars and expected them to taste good! I am most disappointed with the flavour. They are called Wee Cheddars because they are meant to taste like Strathdon Blue Cheese. My experience of Blue Cheese is that it should be smelly and have a very distinct taste. This snack had very little flavour. It wasn't even a mild cheese flavour, it was very bland and not tasty at all. Slight saltiness as you would expect with a snack, but I am not impressed. One thing I liked and made me smile was that they are called Wee Cheddars. This is because of the Scottish connection and Scots use 'Wee' to describe something that is small. This made me smile, even if the taste wasn't very nice. I won't be buying these again. I will stick to the Red Leicester ones.
