Two years ago when my mom and I carved pumpkins for the first time in over a decade, we printed a bunch of templates. That way if we ended up buying more pumpkins we would already have them printed out, plus have them for future years.
Well, since we weren't tired around midnight we went through them and picked which ones we wanted to do. Mom picked Mickey Mouse, and I picked Winnie The Pooh. (Though mom wanted to do pooh first, but said it'd probbaly be too difficult).
And well, pooh was kinda difficult. As I messed up the eyes a little by making them a little too big, and the paper wouldn't sit evenly on the pumpkin so I had to skip doing a heart that was on the side in order to finish pooh. And then the dots I made with toothpicks to "trace" it all on the pumpkin ended up overlapping towards the end. So the legs and feet got all messed up, and when I went to fix them the bottom part ended up falling out making the big hole, lol.
But all in all I don't think it looks too bad. As to me, it now looks like he's jumping up with legs open and one foot behind the heart, rather than the way the legs/feet were supposed to be.
And mom likes her mickey, but said she should've down it upwards a little bit. But of course she didn't know that til after it was already started.
I also I wrote C + S (but one under the other) on the side of my pumpkin. Which is for the fiance and I, and also for my daughter and I. Since they both have S names.
Photo is mine.

I think they both look great! And that is a good idea to print out the templates to use on them!

They look good. I could guess Mickey but even after reading the discussion, I can't say that it looks like Winnie
. I am sure it was a tough one to carve. But it does look good.
