October 31 - What I'm Thankful for Today

This is the day the LORD has made and I WILL REJOICE and be GLAD in it.
I'm thankful I went to church this morning. I left with enough time to get lost since this is the second time I drove to this location. Yeah, I got lost, but I was still the first one to arrive. 
It was a wonderful morning with hugs.
I'm thankful for the prayer I received this morning. I have what I believed is a blood clot in my right leg. I'm glad I decided to go to the ER after church. The area was getting worse and more painful.
I'm thankful for the nurses and the doctor at the hospital. I don't have a new blood clot but an old one that is making itself known. I'm back on blood thinners and will need to call my primary this week. It's not the same blood thinner as last time, so I'm hoping it won't cause a bloody nose.
So, though it might sound like there's bad news here, there's not. They found the cause of the problem in my leg and I'm getting it fixed with medication. I'm not going back to the pool until I talk to my primary and find out how this medication is going to affect me.
In the meantime, I need to do something drastic to lose weight. I'm way up this morning. Not getting in the pool tomorrow is not a benefit, but I will walk the halls a few times to help with exercise.

Good thing you didn't ignore your leg and that you got medication to take. Probably smart not to go to the pool or do anything strenuous until your see your primary.

Oh goodness. I'm glad you went and got looked at and that it's not a new one. Fingers crossed for you that there's no bloody nose, and on some weight loss happening again.

You can uncross your fingers. I blew my nose this morning and found blood. 
At least it didn't flow as it has before.
I'm hoping the treatments I start on Friday will cause weight loss. That is one of the side effects my doctor mentioned.

Praying your leg gets better fast. havrn't been around much as my Amazon account was hacked into and I am dealing with issues from that as having to change my debit card (which they did not use as I mainly add Amazon cards to my account whenI order and glad there was less than 75 dollars in that account, but I changing my debit card to be on the safe side. Once I deal with a few other things on this email address i witl get a new email (still need to decide if I want to say with gmail or use another one though I don't know who. I may never order from Amazon again if they don't soon get things right as it has been and still is hard to contact

Glad you were able to find the cause of your pain and it wasn't a new blood clot. Praying it heals with the medicine without too many other problems.
Thankful for our church services yesterday. Sunday school lesson was on using wisdom and message was on worship. Had a meal following service for pastors appreciation month.
Today I am thankful for a quiet day, sunshine, calm breeze and a snoring kitty next to me.

I will pray that this blood clot dissolves, very quickly. You did beautifully losing weight, when you counted calories. Maybe that's the option you should try again, to drop that additional weight

I'm counting, starting today. Thank you, I hope it dissolves quickly too. Since this is an old clot, it tells me it didn't dissolve the last time they found it four years ago or last year when I was on blood thinners for my surgery. I hope the different medication will dissolve it.
