My weight journey.

All my childhood I was skinny. No matter what I ate. As a teen, it was the same. Even when I was pregnant at 15 in 2007/2008. As the only weight I gained during that time was the baby and placenta weight, so about 10-15lbs probably. (Fiancé doesn't believe I ever fit in size double zero jeans! Or that they even existed. Lol. Even though I was around size 3 when we met in 2010) Anyways, after I had my daughter I didn't gain weight again until I got on the depo shot for birth control, around early 2011. But even though it wasn't too much weight gained at once, as of 2013ish I was no longer "fat" (compared to the skinny me everyone was use to) but now overweight. Then next thing I knew it was 8-9years later and I was about 60lbs grossly heavier than before I started the birth control. Thankfully though, it stopped there instead of continuing. But that just meant I was at a standstill on the scale for awhile, because I wasn't losing anything either. Then at the beginning of June 2020 I finally started losing weight. Even got to my first goal of 30lbs - and under - by January 1st 2021. Then around May 2021 I was down another 20lbs (should have been more but I was at a long standstill twice in that 5months). Anyways, now I was back down to the max weight I could be to not be considered overweight anymore. Woohoo! However, from there to October 2021 I had been at another standstill.. but by October 10th I had finally lost another 7lbs. Making it so that I was now offically under the overweight mark, and had lost a total of 57lbs! In only about a year (I don't count the standstill months). Then I lost another 3 lbs, making it 60lbs lost about a week later. But I unfortunately gained that last 3lbs back, along with 5 other lbs due to finally getting an appetite back, making me back at the overweight mark.. though now I'm down again, by that 5lbs lol. So once again I'm 57lbs down. And 5lbs under overweight! Photo is mine.

So many can eat whatever they want and not gain anything. Most men in my family can. And most of the females in my family only ever gain weight from birth control and pregnancy.

That's awesome! I'm glad you're at your goal weight. I was skinny most of my life too until I went to college. Then the weight piled on and I've been working to lose since.

@Courtlynn Yes, it is. I'm thankful I'm down enough to be below the morbid obesity weight. Now to get below obesity. I have thirty pounds to go to get to that point. Then I will only be overweight.

That's great that you lost what you had gained in that amount of time, doesn't sound too long. and I wish I could wear that size, lol! I was thin until around age 10 and then have been overweight ever since. Well, 10 years ago or so I did lose 75 pounds, but gained most of that back and am trying to lose it all over again (well should say in January I will be trying again)

I wish I was double zero again. But that's not realistic at all. Thankfully i kept alot of my old clothes that i loved so eventually i can wear them again. Already slowly started to. Went from xl-2x clothes to about m-l . Goodluck when you start again.

@MommyOfEli2013 right. I have 3s, 5s, 7s and 9s put away in jeans and xs dresses and stuff. I cant believe size 9s are starting to fit now. Its crazy what our bodies do.

@Courtlynn I can understand, that would be hard to get back down to. Not sure the smallest I wore to try to get back into, lol. But that is good you kept some of the clothes that you loved, in hopes to wear them again - and that's good you've slowly started to. Thank you, I was hoping to lose 50 pounds by May or so...I'll see how that goes. That's a midway goal I guess

It's really not. I just realized the weight gain is from the candy I've been eating the last 2-3 weeks. Oops lol

I'm glad you're hitting your goals. It's not uncommon for weight to go up and down. You're still doing great! I need to lose weight. I know I lost a few pounds stressing over Momma when she was sick, and then I probably gained it back from stress-eating after she passed. I've been afraid to step on the scale but I really need to just bite the bullet and do it (but not now, I just ate a little while ago).

Do it first thing tomorrow with lite clothes on after first pee once woken up before eating or drinking. Best results are then. even if youve gone up its okay. You went and still are going through something traumatic.
