Oh, yeah, everyone knew this was coming. The weather is pretty good for foliage viewing, too. But for today’s song with “magic” in the title, is anybody surprised to see this song pop up on the list?? #8: Magic Bus - The Who Hope nobody had this picked as the #1 song. You probably can’t believe this is this comparatively low on the countdown, either, can you. Not every Who song automatically makes the top five. I’m sure there are people who consider this a drug song. There was a magic bus of sorts, owned by Ken Kesey (who wrote the novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest). The “Merry Pranksters” toured the country in a bus, dropping acid and creating performance art along the way. That’s the thing about music: you can interpret it as you want.
