Bad ideas. I always learn afterwards.

I had a piece of fresh salmon for lunch. I had raw potatoes but I did not want to work or wait.
So what did I do? I asked Nicolás to order some fries from Mac Donalds when he ordered his food (he won´t eat what I cook).
I specially wrote fries instead of French fries,. I did not want to insult anything French.
I could not eat them. So I ate the salmon and will later cood something with carbs. Maybe a potato to eat with butter.
I´m picky. And I´m old. I think I used to be able to eat some fast food years ago.
But the next time I want to eat French fries, I will cut them and fry them in OIL (not an air fryer either) I will not become obese after eating one single potato that way once in a while.
How do you eat your potatoes?

Just a potato fried as it should will not hurt me
. But that potato I made Nicolás order for me will surely end up eaten by Luna. Little by little, so she doesn´t get ill.

@marguicha
Dogs eat everything. Those fried food they prepare smell so bad. I wonder how many times they recycle their oil.

After this, I decided that potatoes for me would have to come from the soil.

@sinari We grow potatoes in this country. I don´t think that they use so many chemicals for them.

@marguicha Well, indeed if the potatoes are directly picked from the ground that's great. Because it's still original, it hasn't been mixed with preservatives or chemicals.

I still make my mashed potatoesxfrom scratch. And I add whole milk and butter to them before I beat them by hand.

I tend to chop them up with other veggies, wrap it all up in parchment paper, and pop it in the oven. Cooking en papillote is one of my favorite ways of dealing with vegetables as it brings out their lovely flavor and is healthy.

I used to like their fries. But they changed how they cook them here and I dont anymore. I do frozen fries in the oven. But fresh fries go in oil

I like potatoes in any way, shape or form. Just as long as they don't have any onions with them.
