Shocked at the Cost to Dine Out / myLot

My friend and I got together after a long time of not seeing each other. I was really looking forward to it. We decided to go out to eat and try a new restaurant. It was highly recommended. We each ordered a burger and a glass of wine. I must admit the food was excellent. However to my surprise the bill came out to $73.00. I was shocked at how much it was. I guess prices are being raised due to covid.

@JimBo452020 There's a fancy restaurant in my town that easily leaves a bill of a hundred dollars. Supposed to be a romantic place but its tons too loud in there. Zero ambience. We go there for a late lunch once every 6 months or so. Lunch can be cheaper.

Covid is only one of many reasons prices are going up. It's shocking quite frankly how bad things have gotten.

That's really expensive. I always check the prices before going to a restaurant because I was in a similar situation as you before.

I cannot blame you for being surprised with the spiking of prices and that includes the restaurants.

yes, now all prices to dine in increased so much. Its due to cost of material, fuel and others increased, but sales is decreasing. It hard for everyone
