Surprise flower delivery

Early Saturday afternoon I was washing dishes when the doorbell rang. I thought it was my parents—as they were supposed to stop by—so didn’t go to open the door.
Instead I yelled that I can’t open the door, knowing they had keys to the house. Not sure why I did that as they wouldn’t hear me anyway.
The doorbell kept ringing so I stopped what I was doing, rinsed my hands, and went to open the door. When I did that I expected to see my parents. Instead there was a stranger looking at me.
I looked back at him not knowing what’s going on. He asked me my name and when I told him that’s me he went to the van and came back with a vase of flowers.
Turned out hubby surprised me with a flower delivery. He did that last year as well. Such a beautiful bouquet as always.

I got a similar bouquet last year as well. Or maybe same one. He went all out for our anniversary. Dinner at a French restaurant and this beautiful bouquet.

Thank you. I love it, though not a fan of lilies. Thankfully, these don’t seem to have an intense smell.
