New Curtains For The Kitchen

Happy sunny Wednesday Everyone! yesterday was almost like a spring day. I had the window open for some fresh air and hopefully I can do that again today. Right now the lawn guys are here so aside from it being noisy I don't want all that pollen in the house and be sneezing for the rest of the day. Guess the mowing season continues.
My fun for today is ironing and hanging new curtains I got for the kitchen. They are a pretty light blue and will cover more of the window than the ones I have there now.
Originally this is the week my son would be doing the whole painting project. But since my daughter in law is recovering from Covid it's postponed. Quarantine and all that.
With the anticipation of everything being painted I went ahead and bought new curtains figuring I would hang them once the job was done.
I was thinking about it this morning and decided why wait. The painting won't be done until after the holidays so I'll just iron and hang the curtains today. New curtains will give the kitchen a new look and it will give me a jump start on getting ready for the holidays.

I do...I don't have anything on my kitchen windows. I am just not that domestic I guess. Just seems like extra work.. Who needs that??

I don't have a blind in my kitchen window so I need a curtain. At night when the light is on the neighbor behind me can see right into my kitchen

@RebeccasFarm a pretty blue. Figured they would go nice with the gray color we're going to paint. Plus my dishes are blue

I love new stuff even though I have to be aware of what I'm spending. Actually I got my curtains on sale so it was too tempting to pass up

If I can ever figure out how to post pictures here I'll be happy to show them. I'm really challenged when it comes to sizing pictures for here. Maybe one of these days my daughter will help me figure it out

more women like shopping for new things, even I really like waiting for my package to arrive, it's like there is pleasure and satisfaction in itself. I also don't know why it's like that, even though most of us spend money on things that we seem to be going into a museum (stored in the cupboard/ warehouse) womans' hearts are so cute
