Up Early Again

Again, this morning I got up at 4:00, it is the second day that I do this. I hope that it is not going to be a new phase as it is way too early to get up. Later on, one of my girlfriends is coming for breakfast, that should be fun. It looks like it is going to be another warm day around here, one of the last few before we get hit by the cold. I woke up at 4 and decided to stay in bed an additional hour. The days are partly cloudy in the morning, more sunny in the afternoon but warm. Not surprising today is "St.Martin's Summer".

I hope that you were able to fall back to sleep. It feels like another mild November day here too. Last year on Remembrance Day it was so warm that my son and I took advantage of our day off of work together, and went and bought some freshly picked strawberries outside of the city, went to the beach and had a picnic on our way home. I remember we talked about places closing back down dur to the pandemic, and they did shortly there after.

Sometimes I am lucky and can sleep for a few minutes in the afternoon, but most of the time, it does not work.

I hate waking up early, and haven't lately woken up up until 5 or 6. I will mylot for a bit, feed the cat who is always anxious for food and go back to sleep.

I wake up early most of the time and once my sleep is broken I just can't go back, I need get myself engaged in something. I hope you had a nice time with your friend.

I believe as we grow older, we tend to spend lesser hours sleeping. I get that too, at times. Maybe you can avoid coffee or eating dinner before sleeping. If you do, that is.

I do this all the time, wake up around 4:30. Take a cat nap around noon, but I keep it short.
