This Photo Is Haunting Me

Since I saw this photo this morning, I can't stop thinking about all the people suffering right now trying to get to another country. Find it particularly sad to see the little kids freezing and hungry. And all this because of some mean men who want to bring war, it is so obvious. Why are people so mean? Why? Why?

Unfortunately there will always be mean people who wage war. It's a sad, sad situation. We are so blessed to live where we do.

The situation at Belarus border is horrible. People should not be left alone, they need help, but no one is going to help them. Why are some people so unlucky to come to the world in those horrible countries?

@marlina It seems that discrimination comes from the highest top... some were born lucky in great countries and some die of cold and famine like those poor people.

Seeing this picture is heart-breaking, reading this story is sad, knowing someone who came from this country and is a thriving Canadian now is a blessing. We have a family member who left Poland, ended up in a refugee camp for a year and then their family had to lie to the government (something that still bothers them to this very day) to get on a plane and come to Canada. When we see groups of immigrants speaking in their native language and practicing many things that they did before coming to our country, we have to look deeper and realize that they were forced out of their country due to communism. These people are very resilient and we have to have hope that more will be welcomed into Canada for a better life.

I understand all the misery as I have a lot of friends who came from some countries and came here for "freedom". Unbelievable the stories that they told me.

@marlina They are lucky that they can tell their stories, our family member cannot as of yet, its still too fresh and that person was a child when they came over. But they still cannot sleep at night, I think that is PTSD to a certain degree.

Those cruel people have in their hearts only demons, and greed. No pity, no care for helpless little children, who cry from hunger.

@marlina I think, because of that cruel person in his heart there is demonic power. So that makes the cruel person has no feelings.

I don’t see this as mean I see it as national security. Poland doesn’t have open borders and it is not a rich country. The migrants chose to come , bad choice obviously. There are a lot of bad counties in the world that is for sure but Belarus is at fault in this case. If they cross the border then what? Do any of them speak polish? It’s a humanitarian crisis.
