So, to start off this series of songs with “fly” or “flying” in the title, a topic suggested by @JamesHxstatic , I go with one of the most obvious tunes you can think of that fit the topic. A little backstory: this was originally called “In Other Words,” and was a hit for Kaye Ballard. You kids won’t know her, but I remember her as a game show panelist and one of the stars of The Mothers-In-Law. But when Sinatra sang it, it became a Sinatra song. And it ever shall be.
