On Friday, from Main's Casco Bay, caught by professional lobsterman, Bill Coppersmith, a rare cotton candy lobster was brought to shore. Bill named lobster Haddie after Bill's granddaughter. Bill works for Get Maine Lobster. Haddie will be donated to Seacoast Science Center in Rye, New Hampshire. Haddie is 7 years old.

@oahuwriter Colorless, the special coloring is caused by a genetic mutation, lack of carotenoid pigments.
The lobster has not been donated to science it has been adopted and will be transported to the Seacoast Science Center in Rye, New Hampshire.

I haven't been to Rye, NH since 1990. I went to Franklin Pierce College in Rindge, NH in the mid to late 1980s.
