I found this interesting and wanted to share it. Several historical figures' bodies down through history have just disappeared. Take the tyrant ruler, Genghis Khan for instance. He died in his sixties from what historians believe were long-term injuries when he fell off a horse. He requested that his slaves bury him in an unmarked grave. This was done but then the slaves were killed. The soldiers who had killed the slaves were also killed. No one has been able to find his remains to this day.
Alexander the Great was one of the most significant emperors and conquerors in history. He died suddenly at age 33 after he fell sick after a feast. It is thought he may have died of something like malaria or he was poisoned. He was buried in a tomb made completely of gold. It was looted by other emperors until nothing was left. His breastplate was taken by the Roman emperor Caligula; and the Egyptian king, Ptolemy IX had the coffin melted down into coins. His remains have been missing since 200CE with all sorts of theories as to what happened to his remains stretching from Australia to Venice.
Solomon Northrup, the African American who wrote the book "Ten Years A Slave" who had been kidnapped and sold into slavery. He had regained his freedom and became a traveling lecturer around the country. In 1857, on a trip to Canada, he disappeared. Some believe he was again kidnapped and sold or that he was killed for his abolitionist beliefs.
Others such as Leonardo da Vinci, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Amelia Earhart, Jean Spangler( a model, dancer, and actress from the Golden Age of Hollywood) Glen Miller, and Davey Crockett have all disappeared in mysterious ways. What has become of them?

Yes, two ns. Sorry about that. Isn't that weird? His air craft and Amelia's were never recovered. Makes a person(this person anyway) wonder.

Many times I have asked myself about what happened to Amelia Earhart thinking that it might have to do with the Bermuda triangle.

There always have some people disappeared in the history,no one knows what happened to them.Like those ghost boat.
I remember a person no one knows where he went in the end.His name is Xu Fu.He's an alchemist who claimed he has the way to make people immortal.Chin Shih-huang sent him to find a Fairy Island where has the medicine to let Chin Shih-huang be immortal.Meantime,Chin Shih-huang gives Xu Fu 3000 boys and 3000 girls to seek that medicine
But after Xu Fu left Chin Shih-huang,he disappeared with 6000 children,no one knows where he went. Some people said he went to Japan and created a new nation called Yamato and He is the first Mikado of Japan. Some people said he went to America and he's the first one who found this lost land. Some people said he went to Korean Peninsula.Surely, after all, only God knows where Xu Fu went

No, probably not. There was that guy too, what was his name, Jimmy Hoffa. I still wonder what happened to him and forgot to mention him in the post.

We can add our own Subhas Chandra Bose in the list. He was first with Mahatma Gandhi in the freedom movement of India. Then he founded the Azad Hind Fouz ( Army) to drive the colonial British away. He took help from the Japanese during the second World War. He disappeared after the plane crash in which he was traveling.

A lot of these disappearance stories have plane wrecks in common.
