Taking in the Fall Foliage

The other day while out running errands I snapped many photos from inside the car. This one shows the fall foliage on the trees. Another reason I love the fall of the year. I enjoy the canopy the trees provide. Nice to look at. Such pretty colors. Many bright orange maple trees I will have to share soon as well. All the leaves will be gone soon. In the meantime I am enjoying the little things. Enjoy your day. Photo is mine.

It's a lovely photo and the blue of the sky is gorgeous! Our colorful leaves are almost all down, at this time.

There are several in the neighborhood. This was a road I enjoy going down with the canopy of trees over the road.

I wish there were trees like that here. Well, if I drive in the right neighborhood I could see pecan orchards but it's usually too far out of my way so I don't see them often.

I love driving down Highway 28 towards Las Cruces because it's one of the few places where trees form a canopy and in the summer keeps the the road cooler. That stretch of road is where Stahmanns Pecan Orchard is. But over the years I've noticed that no matter what time of year I travel that road to go to Las Cruces I never hear any birds in the areas where those trees are. I figure they use a lot of pesticides.

Wow, your foliage looks like ours normally do. We had an explosion of color starting about the first of November. With the wind blowing I don’t think it’ll be around much longer. But still…..there’s nothing like the beauty of a fall day!!!

@CarolDM — oh, I do too. And one of the things I think is just so astonishing in its beauty is when you have those tree-lined roads with the sun shining on the trees and they look like Christmas trees all lit up with the different colors! How great God is!

I love the colors too. Unfortunately we have had some windier days lately and most of the leaves are gone from the trees now. I love looking at the beauty all around, God sure is creative.
