Kyle Rittenhouse NOT GUILTY On All Counts!

I actually feel sick over this. Apparently it's now perfectly fine for a young WHITE male to carry a weapon that's actually ILLEGAL for him to have and use it to shoot 3 young black men, killing 2 of them! The jury's verdict was read on Friday after over three days of deliberations. Rittenhouse faced five charges, including reckless homicide, intentional homicide, and attempted intentional homicide after he fatally shot Anthony Huber and Joseph Rosenbaum and injured Gaige Grosskreutz amid unrest sparked by the police shooting of Jacob Blake, a Black man, in 2020. The judge, who was very blatantly pro-defense throughout the trial, stated that he "couldn't ask for a better jury". I say he couldn't ask for a more obviously BLIND jury! They watched the videotape of the shootings several times, as did the entire nation, which clearly showed him shooting those three unarmed men. I'm a white woman who can't imagine how scary it must be to NOT be white in this country today. This verdict sends the message to all other white supremacists that they can get away with murdering anyone that doesn't look like them. Any thoughts?

Watch the video and things become much clearer about what really happened. I thought Rittenhouse may have been guilty until I looked further into the case. Now I believe he was innocent and acted in self-defense. The jury got it right and justice prevailed. It should be pointed out that the two men killed were white. Here is a photo of the three men shot by Rittenhouse. Would you kindly point out the black man for all of us? Seems to me the person who accuses the jury of being blind is like the pot calling the kettle black.

@porwest There is another post that stated that the two killed were black. It's erroneous posts like this that lead the sheep astray. I don't know enough about the case to comment intelligently; but I do know that facts were overlooked; and misinformation was posted.

@LindaOHio It is important to right the facts. People start to believe the untruths and that becomes dangerous. I have been wrong about things, and I am happy to concede when I am. Although, it is of course rare that I am ever wrong.

This is going to open the door for people to carry and use weapons at protests and other public gatherings--people will die because of this decision-

@porwest Amen to that if you have a license to open carry. Am I right?

People can already do this. Open carry is legal in all 50 states and has been since the beginning of the country. It is called the 2nd Amendment, which among other things, protects the right to open carry.

I read about it and I´d give a lot of reasons why he is guilty. He even LOOKS guilty.

@porwest After what I see in my country, I think that some youngsters do just about anything because they are minors.

The "looks guilty" comment is a terrifying one. Keep in mind the number of serial killers who look like just regular people. What if I were to say "Black people just LOOK guilty." You'd call me a racist. What should I call you for judging someone based on what they look like?

This is the second post that I have read today. One for and one against. I don't know enough about the details to comment intelligently.

It's good to acknowledge that. Annie doesn't know the details either, which is why she's been wrong about everything in this case.

They were all white in this case. No black guys were killed.

I THINK the one was Jewish. I guess the point was it was a Black Lives Matter protest.

@Taskr36 You tell me, Taskr, when were you aware that he's a BLM supporter? I hadn't heard of him saying that until after he'd been acquitted. I'm not saying he didn't say it sooner than that, I NEVER claimed to have watched the entire trial because I had other things to do, ALL I'm saying is I wasn't aware that he'd claimed to be a BLM supporter until after the trial had ended.

@anniepa and Rittenhouse is a Black Lives Matter supporter. I'll bet the media left that part out of their reporting eh Annie?
