November 20 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today has been a good day.
I'm thankful for the opportunity to sleep in this morning. I got up at 3:30 instead of 2:30.
I'm thankful for walking the hall for my exercise. I got four laps in.
I'm thankful for going to the Y this morning. I don't normally go on Saturday, but found myself going there when I left to go to Walgreen's and they didn't have what I hoped for. I had a good workout on the elliptical and stationary bike and got another personal best on the bike. I also had a good conversation with another member I see during the week. I tease her about snow. She keeps telling me she's tuning me out. It's great fun. 
I'm thankful for watching the Green Bay Holiday Parade on TV this morning. I didn't want to stand around in that crowd for an hour. It was a good parade.
I'm thankful for the nap I got after the parade. I was starting to doze off during the parade. I got about an hour.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Wilderness Call. I have 42,361 words and less than 8000 to go to finish the challenge. The book will be far from finished. It's going well.
Okay, that's my day. I'm sorry I wasn't here as I planned to be. Right now I need to make my no-bake pumpkin pie for tomorrow's Thanksgiving dinner at church.

I am thankful for the nice weather and my nephew's high school sending home through his backpack some meals for dinner yesterday afternoon after the food bank was closed earlier in the day.

I've made no-bake pumpkin pie, it's awesome! It's great you can get your walk, in the halls of your building. I'm sure the Green Bay Holiday Parade was very nice:)
