November 21 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a very good day, aside from the Packers' loss to the Vikings by three points. The game almost went into overtime.
I'm thankful for church this morning. We had a praise and worship session before we all got together in the kitchen and got the meal underway. The turkey was in the oven since 6 AM. It was delicious. Everything was. I'm stuffed. 
I'm thankful for the work I just completed on Wilderness Cry. I didn't do much today. But I did get another thousand words finished for a total of 43,425. The stats still show I'll finish on the 24th.
Okay, that's my day. I need to get my therapy exercises done yet. I've had no time for them today. I did take four laps in the hall this morning before I left for church.
Oh, and I'm thankful the weather forecast for today was wrong. The winds were a bit gusty, and the snow was coming down strong. It didn't last very long, but the fact we got snow, made me very happy, even if I was driving home in it.

We got a wind storm with rain, it was too warm for snow(about 40 degrees). I'm doing OK, it's a new day but I'm looking forward to Tuesday.

Hmm, I thought the Packers had won by 3. Apparently, I was quite wrong. Thankful today that I was able to get most of the things I need.

Glad you had a lovely church service. We did as well.
I am thankful when God helps us, even with the small stuff. We had a sudden water problem. Mike went to the basement to see if we had a leak. I prayed we wouldn't. We didn't. Then I prayed to know what to look for next. The answer I got seemed too simple. When Mike came back I asked him and he thought it wouldn't be that but he checked it out and low and behold within a few minutes our water problem was taken care of.
I don't always pray right away in a situation like that and when I don't I tend to become frustrated quickly. I need to always go to Him first, not last.

Wow.... Praise and worship session... I guess you sing too. I used to be active in Church choirs too. I used to be soprano. But not anymore. I miss singing.

I'm also thankful for the day because I was able to attend my Monday mass. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and your thankfulness. Thank you, I was given a chance to be interviewed and to be scheduled for my next interview. I understand the last interview, I failed. I hope this next interview, I will pass so I can start working. I'm thankful for some blessings we have recieved. My sister sent us healthy vegetarian sandwiches. Thank you, I was given an idea what to make tomorrow. I plan to make Cheesy-yam rolls, loaf bread, twisted roll, grilled tuna

I'm not in a choir. Our group is too small for a choir. I sing with the rest of the people during praise and worship.
I'm glad you have another interview. I hope you do well and get the job.
That's great your sister sent you healthy sandwiches.
