The Catfishes Catfishing the Customers

Today, I went to buy some fishes in the fish market. Along the process, catfishes started to splash water on me. They are so alive to catch my attention, but I did not buy them. It is one of the fishes that I don't like to eat. It is also the same thing with catfishes online. A catfish is described as a person who uses a fake profile photo and false information to catfishing innocent souls online.
By the way, a dating site is trying to make me re-apply to them again today. I had shared this before that I used to be a certified 'catfish' on the Internet before. It is not because I want to earn extra cash, but also to know how these people deceived innocent souls. Eventually, I quit this kind of job and explore other jobs online. If you want to know more about it, feel free to ask.
Have you ever been catfished before?
Are you fond of joining or participating on dating sites?

I haven't experienced catching a catfish. I bet it was a challenging one. @Faster16 What was that? @crossbones27

Thanks for making us aware that such catfish are up to get us. Glad you are out of that kind of job. It ain't a good place for anyone.
I don't also eat that fish. Is that the 'hito' in Tagalog?

I was so shocked when doing the job with the others. Some of them love it and continue to be their major source of income. As far I can remember, it needs to process at least more than 200 messages every day before. You will be surprised how the customers were so into it.
It is called 'hito' in our native tongue.

@eileenleyva It is somewhat like it. The nature of the job is to lure the customers to keep on spending their money by exchanging messages with a poser on the dating site.

I have corydoras in my fish tank. Sometimes they like to surface for a gulp of air and splash anyone too close to their tank. I think all catfish love doing that.

@Shavkat No, tank maintenance is simple... I check the pH on it once a week and add fresh water once a week. I do a 1/2 water change every spring.

Taught me something never heard of catfishing. I do like to eat the fish them and Halibut fish. They taste so good when fresh. I am sure we all have, hell Facebook said I helped raise 51 dollars for charities in past year. I was like when did I do that so someone is still cat fishing me.

I don't join dating sites since I'm not looking to date anyone. Although it keeps on appearing whenever I'm online.
